When I was in grammer school I saw this move/ some Japanese short story/ It was hands down the coolest thing I have ever seen. There is this Japanese married couple. It took place so long ago that in the area they were in there were no mirrors. Since they did not know about mirrors this one couple had this misunderstanding when one finally surfaced.
The man found a jewlery box with a small mirror in it. He became very obsessed with the box and looking in the mirror. He would spend most of his time with said box.
His wife started to worry. "What on earth is he hiding from me?" One day when the husband goes out, he forgets to take his box with him. The wife starts looking all over for this thing he is keeping from her. Suddenly, there under the blankets is this small wooden box. The wife becomes afraid to open it. "What could it be, she thinks." She opens the box and sees a woman (it is really herself in the mirror.) She thinks her husband is cheating on her and they fight. I forgot how it ends but really it was the greatest story. I need to know what it is.
